The nanoimprint mold is a key component for nanoimprint processing, playing a crucial role in transferring precise nanoscale patterns onto substrates. They are typically fabricated from durable materials like silicon, quartz, or metal, which provide high mechanical strength and thermal stability necessary for repeated use.
Technological substitutability (high resolution/low cost) and downstream diversified applications (semiconductor/optical/biological) are the main driving factors for the growth of the nanoimprint mold market. In terms of technology, nanoimprint technology directly transfers nanoscale patterns through physical imprinting, with a resolution of less than 10 nanometers, which is better than traditional optical lithography (constrained by the diffraction limit) and does not require complex optical systems and photomasks, significantly reducing manufacturing costs (a reduction of 30-50%).
