Description

Ammonium polyphosphate (APP for short) is a kind of phosphorus nitrogen series special intumescent inorganic flame retardant with white powder appearance, which is water-soluble and water-insoluble. The polymerization degree n between 10 and 20 is water-soluble, which is called short chain APP; If the polymerization degree n is greater than 20, it is insoluble in water, which is called long-chain APP. The product has high content of P-N flame retardant elements, good thermal stability, almost neutral product, compatibility with other substances, durable flame retardant performance, non-toxic and smoke suppression. As the basic material of intumescent flame retardant, APP is widely used in the flame retardant field.
