Description

Photodiode optical coupler is an optoelectronic device usually composed of photodiode and light-emitting diode. They achieve conversion and isolation between electrical signals and optical signals through optical coupling. Photodiode optocouplers are often used to isolate input and output circuits, protecting sensitive components in the circuit while passing signals. In a photodiode optocoupler, when an LED at the input is activated, a light beam is emitted, which is captured by the photodiode and converted into an electrical signal. This photoelectric conversion process achieves electrical isolation between the input and output ends. Therefore, photodiode optocouplers are often used in electrical isolation, signal transmission and noise suppression applications, such as in power electronics, industrial automation, communication equipment and medical equipment. The working principle and structure of the photodiode optical coupler make it have the advantages of high-speed response, low power consumption, good electromagnetic compatibility, and strong insulation performance. Photodiode optical coupler is an optoelectronic device usually composed of photodiode and light-emitting diode. They achieve conversion and isolation between electrical signals and optical signals through optical coupling. Photodiode optocouplers are often used to isolate input and output circuits, protecting sensitive components in the circuit while passing signals. In a photodiode optocoupler, when an LED at the input is activated, a light beam is emitted, which is captured by the photodiode and converted into an electrical signal. This photoelectric conversion process achieves electrical isolation between the input and output ends.
