Optical Regenerative Amplifier
The working principle of the regenerative amplifier is mainly based on the interaction between the optical resonator and the amplifying medium. In an amplifier, a light pulse is introduced into a resonator and then makes multiple round trips inside the resonator. On each round trip, the light pulse passes through the amplifying medium and is amplified. In this way, the light pulse can make multiple round trips before being coupled out, allowing for higher amplification. Positive feedback amplifiers are widely used in optical communications, laser radar, optical imaging and other fields. In optical communications, positive feedback amplifiers can be used to improve signal transmission distance and quality; in laser radar, positive feedback amplifiers can be used to improve radar detection range and accuracy; in optical imaging, positive feedback amplifiers can be used to improve signal transmission distance and quality. Imaging resolution and contrast.
